Todd Alan Roy, age 45, of Annandale, formerly of Fairhaven, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Watkins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Olson as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services, Saturday at the church. Parish Prayers will be 4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Todd Alan Roy was born March 1, 1968 in Litchfield to Donald and Maryln (Kotila) Roy. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Persian Gulf War. Todd owned and operated Todd's Quality Painting. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He loved being outdoors especially fishing, hunting and camping. Todd thought the world of his step-son and loved being from a large family.
He is survived by his mother Maryln Hunt of Fairhaven; fiancé Cassandra Janisch of Annandale; step son Derek Janisch of Annandale; grandmother Alyce Kotila of Sauk Rapids; brother Vincent Roy of Little Falls; sister Melissa Hunt (fiancé Benjamin Rutka) of St. Cloud; and nieces Nicole, Alexis and Miya Roy. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Roy; step father Richard Hunt; and grandparents Charles & Arlayne Hunt, Toivo Kotila and Morris & Josephine Roy.
The urn bearer will be Charles Bollman. The St. Anne's Choir will provide the music for the service. The Kimball American Legion and the Minnesota National Guard Honor Guard will provide the Military Honors for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
