Timothy C. Wurm, age 78, of 4835 Illsley Ave. NW, Maple Lake died Sunday, August 17, 2003 at the V.A. Medical Center, Minneapolis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in St. Timothy`s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Timothy Charles Wurm was born April 18, 1925 at Maple Lake to Martin and Hazel (McAlpine) Wurm. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and married Marie A. Holthaus on August 30, 1951 in Buffalo. He farmed in the Maple Lake area and was a member of St. Timothy`s Church and Maple Lake American Legion Post #131. He was a former member of the Fr. O`Brien`s Council Knight of Columbus and St. Timothy`s School Board.

He is survived by his wife, Marie of Maple Lake; nine children & their spouses, Jane Wurm of Maple Lake, Patrick & Denise Wurm of St. Michael, Susan & Michael Michaelis of Monticello, Ruth & David Neske of Buffalo, Betty & Bruce Stuhr of Annandale, Teresa & Rick Doerr of Buffalo, Joan & Jeff Michaelis of Monticello, Jerry Wurm of Maple Lake, Mae Wurm of Maple Lake; brothers, sisters, & their spouses, Grace Rassat of Waverly, Sister Betty Wurm of St. Paul, Mary Jandro of Fargo, ND, Maxine & Len Schaust of Delano, Eloise & Rich Smith of Litchfield, Hazel & Allen Decker of Kokomo, IN, Jim & Marlene Wurm of Maple Lake, Arlene & Wayne Jude of Paynesville; 8 grandsons; and 8 granddaughters. He was preceded in death by sister, Agnes Piram; brothers, Tom & Roy; brothers & sisters in law, Sylvester Piram, Leo Rassat, Bill Jandro, Bernelda Holthaus, and Lucille Holthaus.

The pallbearers will be Jerad Happe, David Michaelis, Jeremy Stuhr, Justin Happe, Darin Neske, Ryan Michaelis, Matt Wurm, and Greg Wurm. The music will be provided by Marge Pavlik, organist and the St. Timothy`s Resurrection Choir.
