Thomas P. Henry, age 75, of Annandale died Monday, August 24, 2009 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Memorial preferred to the Annandale Area Foodshelf.
Thomas Peter Henry was born August 23, 1934 in Hastings to Earl and Katherine (Sieben) Henry. He graduated from Hastings High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Shirley Ann Reamer on April 19, 1958 and worked for the Environmental Protection Agency. Tom and Shirley started their family in Vermillion and later moved to Silver Creek in 1974. He has lived in Annandale the past year previously living for 15 years in Osceola, WI. Tom was a member of the Maple Lake American Legion Post 131 and enjoyed gardening, planting trees, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann of Annandale, children & their spouses Peter & Marlys Henry of Maple Lake, Gretchen & Scott Quiggle of Annandale, Mary Jo & Dean Calonder of Bristow, VA, James & Marcia Henry of Blaine, Heidi & Donald Cox of Clearwater, brother John Henry & his wife Ginnie of Rochester, 14 grandchildren Stacey, Sarah & Joshua Henry, Seth (Stephanie) & Shae Quiggle, Angela, Ryan & Nathaniel Calonder, Alexandra, Chelsey & Ethan Henry, Bryan, Kayla & Karlee Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and 2 sisters.
The urn bearers will be Bryan Cox, Joshua Henry, Ryan & Nathaniel Calonder. The music for the service will be provided by Ryan Calonder and Carolyn Wicks. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
