Thomas L. Ferry, age 65 of Annandale , died suddenly Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis after a massive stroke.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Pleasantview Cemetery , Annandale . Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the services, Friday, at the church.

Thomas Lee Ferry was born February 2, 1946 in Minneapolis to Howard and Bernice (White) Ferry. He served his country with the U.S. Air Force. On December 12, 1969, he was united in marriage to Sheryl K. Dunn in Watertown , SD. Tom worked as a telecommunications technician for 28 years, working for Northwestern Bell , AT&T and Qwest. He enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting, his '72 Chevy pickup truck, walking his dog, checking in on the neighbors and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl; four daughters, Lisa Ferry of Annandale, Michelle (Steve) Hartmann of Prior Lake, Rachael Ferry of Annandale and Tammy (Howard) Tande of Lake Tahoe, NV; eight grandchildren, Tommy Ferry, Nicholas and Erica Anderson, Alexa Hartmann, Hayden Wikan, Kobe and Jaylin Knettel and Cody Parker; and brothers, Howard, Jr. (Jan) Ferry of Buffalo and Bruce (Barb) Ferry of Princeton. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Bernice.

Pallbearers will be Steve Huff, Howard Ferry, Rick Bandimere, Nicholas Anderson, Tommy Ferry and Jim Hackenmueller. Bruce Ferry will serve as honorary pallbearer. St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale .
