Thomas F. Dearing, age 74, of 8866 County Road 7 NW, Maple Lake died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
Thomas Franklin Dearing was born August 16, 1933 on the family farm near Annandale to Carl and Mary (Schneider) Dearing. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1951 and then served in the Army Reserves. Tom married Irene Swartz on September 13, 1958 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church and they farmed in Corinna Township. He was a member of St. Ignatius Church, and the Annandale & Silver Creek Sportsman's Clubs. He enjoyed visiting with family & friends, farming, hunting, trap shooting, fishing, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Irene of Maple Lake; children, Bruce of Maple Lake, Terri (Steve) Harder of Blaine, Diane of Mounds View, Greg (Sue) of Buffalo, Jeff of Temple, TX; sister, Angela (Donald) Paumen of Maple Lake; brother, Wayne (Marilyn) of Annandale; 6 grandchildren, Eric (Kristen) Harder, Jennifer (Chris) Thomas, Charlie (Berenice) Harder, Rebecca, Emily, and Ellie Mae Dearing; and a great grandson, Jovani Harder. His parents and sister, June Love preceded him in death.
Eric Harder will be the urn bearer and the music will be provided by Sarah Goelz and Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
