Theresa M. Pearson, age 81 of Maple Lake, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at N.C. Little Hospice in Edina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in Grand View Park Cemetery, Hopkins at a later date. Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the church. Theresa Marie Pearson was born January 16, 1929 in Mahnomen to John J. and Lillie E. (Blaeser) Spaeth. She married Robert W. Pearson on December 1, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 4, 1985. Theresa worked as a supervisor at Honeywell in Hopkins for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale and was a volunteer at Camp Friendship, Annandale for the past 20 years. Theresa enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing cards.
She is survived by her three children, Robert (Mary Ann) of Eden Prairie, Deborah (Theodore Martin) Gens of Venice, FL and Melissa Jaynes of Dallas, TX; six brothers, Harold (Dot) Spaeth of Jacksonville, FL, Jerome (Betty) Spaeth of Fargo, ND, Joseph (Viola) Spaeth of Mahnomen, Patrick (Bobbie) Spaeth of Fridley, John (Cheryl) Spaeth of Henderson, NV, Warren (Sherrill) Spaeth of Fridley and George (Sharon) Spaeth of Mahnomen; one sister, Marlys (Curt) Conlon of Wales, MI; sister-in-law, Altha Spaeth of Mahnomen; six grandchildren, Sarah Marshall, Joe & Emily Wahlund, Brian & Matthew Gens, David & Michael Erickson; eight great grandchildren, Grace, Abby, Caroline & Phoebe Marshall, Brooke & Catlin Wahlund, Sarah Gwin and Victoria Gens. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, John & Lillie; husband, Robert; brothers, Kenny, Sonny and Marlo Spaeth; sisters, Gladys Bratner, Virginia Rumreich and Doris Danielson; brothers-in-law, Jim Bratner, Toby Rumreich and Bob Danielson.
Brian Gens will serve as the urn bearer for the service. Music will be provided by the St. Ignatius Guitar Group. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
