Obituary

Theresa Cossairt, age 97, formerly of Kimball died peacefully Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball. Fr. Richard Gross will officiate and burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery.
Theresa Cossairt was born in Meeker County on June 20, 1913 to John and Elizabeth (Cooper) Adolph. She married Dewey Cossairt on October 15, 1938 in St. Anne's Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1999. They farmed north of Kimball and in 1943 bought a farm southwest of Kimball and farmed there until retirement in 1979 when they purchased a house in Kimball. Theresa was a homemaker, member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, and a former member of the Golden Ager's Club. She enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of her lawn & flowers, and visiting with neighbors, friends, and family. In 1986 Theresa and Dewey were the Grand Marshals of the Kimball Centennial Parade. At the age of 92 Theresa sold her house and moved to Benet Place Senior Community in St. Cloud and lived independently until a week before her death. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her three children & their spouses Luverne & Lillian Cossairt of Bloomington, Eugene & Pat Cossairt of Waite Park, Karen & Ron Gross of Brooklyn Park, eight grandchildren Richard Cossairt, Jim (Janie) Cossairt, Jeff (JoAnn) Cossairt, Melissa Cossairt, Mary (Dominick) Roestenberg, Todd Gross, Brian (Jami) Gross, & Kimberly (Dan) Warner, seven great grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Bailey & Maverick Cossairt, Isabella & Aiden Roestenberg, & Elliot Gross, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dewey, sisters Emma Olson, Amelia Blair, & Cecilia Adolph, and brothers Ferdinand & William Adolph.
The pallbearers will be her eight grandchildren, the music for the service will be provided by the St. Anne's Choir, and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
