Susan R. Yanish, age 77, of Annandale, died Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home.

A private committal service will be held at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery near Little Falls.

Susan Rae Rice was born on September 24, 1948, to Raymond and Irene (Kammer) Rice in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She grew up in Annandale, graduated from Annandale High School, and lived her entire life in Annandale. On April 16, 1966, Sue was united in marriage to Michael "Mick" Yanish. Together, they raised their three children in Annandale. Sue worked as a receptionist for Bernatellos in Maple Lake for over 30 years.

Sue was a woman of many passions. She had a profound love for animals and found joy in the simple pleasures of baking, cooking, and tending to her yard. She would often be seen in the front garage along with her husband Mick, watching the world pass by. Sue's nurturing spirit shone brightly through the time she dedicated to her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Bret of Kimball, Rick of Otsego, and Tammy (Tim Weber) of Annandale; grandchildren, Aaron, Brianna, Isabella, Paige, Destiny, Winnie, Skylar, and Sommar; great-grandchild, Vivyann; and many in-laws, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Rice; husband, Mick Yanish; and sister, Linda Knute.
