Obituary
Steven L. Keske, age 60, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at his home in Annandale from cancer.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fairhaven. Pastor Timothy Nerud will officiate and burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale or one hour prior to the service, Tuesday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Steven Louis Keske was born July 3, 1949 in Minneapolis to Orville and Irene (Korsten) Keske. He graduated from Robbinsdale High School with the class of 1967. Steve lived in Cambridge for 25 years, before moving to Annandale in 2007. He worked as an operating engineer for Unity Hospital for 31 years. Steve enjoyed fishing, watching Minnesota Twins and NASCAR, target shooting and crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his fiancAC., Brenda Speckel of Annandale; children, Tracy Skonseng of St. Cloud, Jason (Brandy) Skonseng of Andover, Cheryl of Isanti and Steven, Jr. (Judy) of Cambridge; mother, Irene of Robbinsdale; brother, Tom, Sr. (Joyce) of Minong, WI; sister, Gloria (Richard) Gillette of Houlton, WI; grandchildren, Tyler and Desirae; nephew, Tom, Jr. (Barbara); and great niece, Danielle. He is preceded in death by his father, Orville.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bruggenthies, Ron Ness, Bob Engelbretson, Nick Fylling, Tom Keske, Jr. and Paul Berg. Ruth Fry will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
