Steven A. Hill, age 60, of Annandale died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Lake Ridge Care Center, Buffalo.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Wally Gloege officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Steven Arthur Hill was born September 23, 1953 in Monticello, MN to Gerald and Dorothy (Lee) Hill. Steve attended school in Annandale, graduating with the Class of 1971. In 1977, Steve graduated with a Culinary Arts degree from Hibbing Technical College. Steve was united in marriage to Patricia Lynn Pierce on September 16, 1989 at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church. He was employed as a chef for approximately 20 years for various restaurants in the area. He also worked as a machine operator/laborer at Wagner Spray Tech in Plymouth and as a laborer at WSI in Long Lake. Steve was most recently employed at the Annandale Cenex until 2008, when his health started to decline. Steve enjoyed fishing, cooking, snowmobiling in his younger years, and watching movies about wars, historic events, and westerns. Above all, Steve treasured the time spent with his family and friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Patti of Annandale; daughters, Samantha and Ashley of Annandale; siblings, Betty Thompson of Annandale, Susan Schindele of Annandale, Sally (Howard) Wurzberger of Waite Park; brothers-in-law, Ronald Popp of Annandale, Rick (Becky) Haugeto of Princeton, Shawn (Debbie) Pierce of Sartell, Terry (Jody) Haugeto of Sartell, and Steve Haugeto of West Virginia; his Goddaughter, Trisha Lee Woods; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Dorothy Hill and sister, Mona Popp.
