Obituary
Stephen J. Berscheid, age 55, of Kimball died, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 as a result of an ATV accident near Watkins.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Monday, May 2, 2011 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. Fr. Thomas Olson will officiate and burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
Stephen Jon Berscheid was born December 28, 1955 in St. Cloud to Ambrose and Alvina (Yungk) Berscheid. Stephen attended school at Kimball High School graduating with the class of 1975. He lived his entire life in the Kimball area, and was currently residing on the family farm.
Stephen enjoyed fixing and rebuilding engines. He could often be found socializing and visiting with his family and friends. His greatest enjoyment in life was the time he spent with his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Becky (fiancé, Brian Schlangen) Berscheid of St. Cloud, and Bonnie Berscheid of Sartell; 3 grandchildren; mother, Alvina Berscheid of Sartell; brothers, Dannis (Janie) of California, Marvin (Sue) of Kimball, and Duane (Renee) of Kimball; nieces, nephews, other family and numerous friends. Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Ambrose, brother, Eugene, and nephew, Joel Berscheid.
Becky, Bonnie & Dannis Berscheid, Jesse & Devin McWherter and Brian Schlangen will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
