Stephen K. Anderson, MD, age 53 of Medicine Lake, died August 13, 2019.

A Celebration of Life was held at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Plymouth on August 19, 2019 with Deacon Kevin O'Connor officiating. A private committal service took place at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake on September 11, 2021 with Fr. Kevin Magner officiating.

Steve was born September 28, 1965 in St. Cloud, MN. He grew up in Maple Lake. He graduated from Maple Lake High School, earned his Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University and his Doctorate from the University of Minnesota. Steve Wrestled at NDSU, was an NCAA Post Graduate Scholar, an All American and a Hall of Fame Athlete. He worked as a compassionate physician of Emergency Medicine. Steve was a member of the Medicine Lake City Council. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at the lake, hunting, and listening to '80's rock. Steve was a loving dad that will be remembered for his generous heart.

He is survived by daughters, Ellen & Sophia Anderson; mother, Elaine Anderson; sisters, Mary (Will) Piens, Cathy (Alfred) Wurm, and Jeanne (John) Onushko; and brother, Mark (Suzette) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth Anderson.
