Shirley E. Cantin, age 68 of Annandale died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Park View Care Center in Buffalo.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends and family will gather from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the services, Monday at the church. A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Shirley E. Cantin was born March 24, 1940 in Albion Township to Hubert C. and Mabel A (Bonnick) Mistelske. She married Jerry Cantin on November 15, 1958 in Monticello. Shirley lived in the Maple Lake area all her life; there Jerry and established their Sod business. Shirley was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. she loved her family and friends and enjoyed mowing lawn.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Rick (Julie) of Buffalo and Russ (Kari) of Annandale; two grandchildren, Jeremy of Chaska and Amanda (Dustin) Trautner of St. Cloud. She is preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Rick Geyen, Mike Kuka, Kevin Terhaar, Pat Little, Kyle Golby and Chris Reeve. Honorary pallbearers are Bonnie and Rod Elfmann. Cathy Queck, organist and JoAnn Zander, vocalist will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
