Shelly Danelke, age 65, of Annandale, died Saturday, December 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale, Minnesota. Burial will be held at a later date. Shelly Rae Ann Schmidt was born October 20, 1957, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Dale and Joyce (Logeais) Schmidt. Shelly attended Annandale High School. Shelly was united into marriage on February 25, 1976 to Eldon Danelke. Together they raised their two daughters in Annandale. She worked as a chiropractor assistant at Annandale Family & Sports Chiropractic for over 25 years. Shelly enjoyed summer trips with her sisters, baking her famous cinnamon rolls and carrot bars for her family and friends, and most importantly spending time with her family. Her family was her pride and joy in life. Shelly is survived by her husband of 46 years, Eldon; daughters, Heather Danelke of Buffalo, MN, Christine (Bryan) Hoversten of Monticello, MN; granddaughter, Miranda Wenger; siblings, Mitchell (Pat) Schmidt, Sherri (Harry) Newman, Dana (Tammy) Schmidt, Joni Marquart, Kathy Schmidt, and Brad (Barb) Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Joyce.
