Obituary
Sharon Kathleen Nyren, age 67, of South Haven died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.
Sharon Kathleen Nyren was born April 23, 1941 to Thomas and Fern (VanVickle) McGee in Benson where she grew up and attended school. On February 15, 1958 she was united in marriage to Dale Nyren. After which they lived shortly in Benson and ever since have lived in the Annandale area. Sharon enjoyed visiting for hours on end with her family and friends. She loved having her pets around her just like they were one of the kids.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; 3 sons, Jeff & wife Candy of South Haven, Scott & wife Lori of Annandale, Wade of Rice; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Tasha, Parker, Hunter & Nicholas; great grandson, Brennan; brother, Thomas "Tommy" McGee Jr of Huntley, IL; sisters, Rita (Wayne) Wersinger of Danvers, Mary (Mike) Wente of Porter, Juanita Saterbak of Danvers; also numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Roberta 'Robin' Nyren, parents, and sister Becky Mohrman.
The urnbearer will be Jason Wersinger and the music for the service will be provided by Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist and Darrel Olson, soloist. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
