Sharon K. (Lapier) Cruikshank, age 66, of Maple Lake passed away with her family at her side on July 8, 2007.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and entombment will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.

Sharon Kay Cruikshank was born October 28, 1940 in Plainview to Roy and Gertrude (Lubinski) Lapier. She married Robert J. Cruikshank on May 28, 1960 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo. Sharon was a member of the Maple Lake American Legion Auxiliary post 131. She enjoyed Knitting, Quilting, playing cards, cooking, traveling, and especially enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bob; mother, Gert Lapier of Buffalo; son, Ron (Laurie) of Crystal; daughters, Connie (Ed) Ladwig of Maple Grove and Kelly of Buffalo; grandchildren `Her Angel Babies`, Rachel, J.J., Lauren and Maya. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy; sister, Carol; father-in-law, Bill; and mother-in-law, Pearl.

Urn bearer will be Ronald Cruikshank. The Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
