Sharon K. Canfield, age 83, of Kimball, died Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A Remembrance Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. Visitation will begin one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Fairhaven Cemetery.
Sharon Kay Brock was born on May 14, 1943, in Burchard, Nebraska, the daughter of Donald and Sylvina (Kussman) Brock. She graduated from Hickman High School in 1961. On November 14, 1964, Sharon married the love of her life, Howard Canfield Sr., in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their journey together took them from Lincoln to Denver, and back again, before they settled in Fairhaven, Minnesota, in 1982. Their family later moved to Eden Valley, and ultimately to Kimball, where Sharon would continue to nurture her family and create lasting memories.
Sharon dedicated many years to her career as a seamstress, showcasing her craftsmanship and dedication while working for Stearns Manufacturing in Sartell, then at Animal Fair in Eden Valley for three years each, before spending 18 years at Airtex Industries in Cokato.
An avid reader and passionate crafter, Sharon also deeply cherished her time spent with her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her children, Rhonda Brock of State Center, IA, Sherrie Canfield of Omaha, NE, Kathy (David) Janisch of South Haven, Howard Jr. of South Haven, and Becky (Mitch) Carlson of Annandale; 8 grandchildren, Michael Smith, Cassandra Sirek, Taven Shockley, Ryan Janisch, Emily Potvin, John Janisch, Heather LaFond, and Bryce Carlson; 19 great-grandchildren, Brienne, Levi, Wyatt, Aryck, Jameson, Abby, Austyn, Miles, Courtnie, Jade, Mason, Charlie, Sebastian, Stella, Tyler, Sophia, Chase, Coraline, and Quentin; sister-in-law, Nancy Brock; brother-in-law, Ivan Roblyer; nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Paul, Eldon, and Larry Brock, and Theresa Roblyer; parents-in-law, John and Sarah Canfield; and numerous siblings-in-law.
Sharon's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Kimball.
