Sharleen "Shar" M. Dircks, age 81, of Maple Lake died peacefully on June 21, 2015 at St. Mary's Care Center in Winsted, Minnesota.

Private burial will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Sharleen M. Dircks was born December 18, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Edwin and Grace (Buchanan) Dahlman. Shar was a long time resident of Maple Lake, Minnesota, served for many years on the City Council, and will be missed by many.  Her family is grateful to all her friends in Maple Lake who loved and cared for her.  Married to the late Al Dircks, she is survived by her son Bill and her three sisters.
