Scott W. Lampi, age 66, of Annandale, died suddenly on Friday, August 11, 2023, after an automobile accident.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with Rev. Todd Nelsen officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in French Lake Township. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at one hour prior to the service on Friday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale.

Scott William Lampi was born August 29, 1956, in Robbinsdale to Harold and Phyllis (Smith) Lampi. He grew up in Minneapolis, graduating from Robbinsdale High School. Scott worked as a union carpenter with Carpenters Local 322. In his younger years, Scott loved to be on the lake, whether it be barefoot water skiing, sailing, or simply out for a cruise. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, farming, spending time with family, and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by his son, Shawn (Jessica) Lampi of Monticello; grandchildren, Darrion Lachelt and Aubrie Houchin; sisters, Susan (Phil) Berwyn of Brooklyn Park, Sherlynn Pryor of Tempe, AZ, and Kristen Bullard of Minneapolis; sister-in-law, Kathy Lampi of Brooklyn Park; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Lampi and Phyllis McClay; and brother, Steven Lampi.
