Obituary
Roy Harold Stenberg, 84, of Annandale, MN passed away on 10/29/11 at North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale, MN.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with Funeral services held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1 at the Annandale Free Church with Rev. Kevin Groven officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale and arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Roy served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked in the water well business most of his life. After retirement he and his wife Lois enjoyed winters at their home in Sebring, FL and summers on Sugar Lake and later Southbrook Golf Community in Annandale, MN. Roy was an avid fisherman and hunter all of his life. In later years golf become his passion but his real joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Roy lived a Christian life and is now home with his Lord.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Lois, and parents Harold and Frieda Stenberg. He is survived by daughters Sue Fenton (Chuck) of Litchfield, MN, Judy Hitchens (John) of Dalton, GA and Chris Lingner (Scott) of Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren include Josh Fenton (Lindsay) of Oxford, OH, Catherin Nordquist (Chris) of Apple Valley, MN, Kristi Hitchens of Atlanta, GA, Jack Hitchens (Courtney) of Dalton, GA and Michelle Lingner of Milledgeville, GA and one great grandchild Ryan Fenton.
