Mrs. Rose A. Lee, age 88, of Annandale died Monday, March 24, 2003 at her daughter's home near Delano.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2003 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Rev. Frank Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Thursday.
Rose Agnes Lee was born July 30, 1914 at Balsam Lake, WI to Edward and Louise (Germain) Baribeau. She lived near River Falls, WI moving to South Haven in 1952 and to Annandale in 1958. She married Leonard J. Lee August 25, 1934 in Stillwater and he preceded her in death in 1958. She was a homemaker and member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
She is survived by eleven children & their spouses, Dorothy & David Cegon of Minneapolis, Lyman & Norma of Wadena, Norma of West St. Paul, Judy & Jerry McKenzie of Kandiyohi, Pauline DeLage & Wayne Hanson of Willmar, Kathleen & David Cecka of Elk River, Arlan Lee & Carol Bach of Annandale, Carolyn of Minneapolis, Norman of Forest City, Janice & Howard Stein of Delano, Daniel & Lisa of Dover, DE; sister, Marie Blake of Robbinsdale; brother, Raymond of Richfield; 26 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Shirley O'Leary; great grandson, Logan Boehlke; brothers, Roy, John, & Benjamin; and sisters, Bernadette Hying & Florence Smith.
The pallbearers will be grandchildren; Mike O'Leary, David Cegon, Steven Lee, Brad DeLage, Brian Cecka, Tim McKenzie, Jesse Lee, Mark Stein, and Randy Stein. Her remaining grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers. Dureen Gasser will provide the music for the funeral service.
