Obituary

Roger A. Peglow, age 56, of Annandale, died Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital with loved ones at his side after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2026, at Hope Central Christian Church in Kimball with Pastor Dan Borchardt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.

Roger Artin Peglow was born on Easter Sunday, March 29, 1970, to Arthur and Carol (Vannurden) Peglow at the Paynesville Hospital. He was baptized and confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. He attended Kimball Elementary and Kimball High School.

Roger was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved fishing anytime he could sneak away with his best friend, Kelly and deer hunting on the family farm with his brothers and sister. Roger enjoyed camping with his daughters, nieces, and nephews and teaching them how to clean fish, bait a hook, and skin a deer.

Roger met the love of his life, Nicole, eight years ago. They would be married 2 years on August 16. They shared a love like no other. Roger and Nicole lived in Grenora, North Dakota, where Roger owned and operated Speedy Goat Construction. They moved back to Minnesota and he started to work for Storby Underground; he loved working for "his boys", Nick and Nate.

He was a unique man that told you how it was, whether you liked it or not. Roger had many, many stories that were very interesting, as you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth.

Roger found peace with God through his visits with Pastor Dan. He couldn't change his past but changed his future. He made amends and lived the rest of his time as a better man.Roger was truly thankful for having a benefit for him. It was his final party to celebrate with all those who loved and supported him through his journey.

He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Nicole Peglow of Annandale; daughters, Megan (Jake) Sjodin of Brook Park and Molly (Cody) Bartz of Mora; grandchildren, Eleanor, Krew, and Wren Sjodin, and Amelia and Emrie Bartz; mother, Carol Peglow of Kimball; siblings, Tim (Leslie) Peglow of Kimball, Sarah Zipoy of Kimball, Jason Peglow of Fairhaven, and Artie (Rachel) Peglow of St. Michael; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kelly and Julie Danelke of Fairhaven; brother-in-law, Boomer (Tiffany) Danelke of Kimball; nieces and nephews, Paige (Ryan) Ruegemer, Preston Peglow, Parker Peglow, John Zipoy, Julia Zipoy (Collin), Mason Peglow, Connor Peglow, Morgan Danelke (Ashton), Mason Danelke (Hope), and Mya Danelke; great-nieces, Hailey, Riley, and Timmy Ruegemer. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Peglow; brother-in-law Tom Zipoy; grandparents Arthur G. and Alma Peglow and Archel and Alvera Vannurden.

Kelly Danelke, Sr., Boomer Danelke, Tim Peglow, Artie Peglow, Jason Peglow, Parker Peglow, Preston Peglow, and John Zipoy will serve as casket bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
