Roger L. Cargill, age 59, of Annandale died unexpectedly on Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with Funeral Services held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. The Rev. Thomas Andrews will officiate and burial will follow at Grace Southside Cemetery, Annandale.
Roger Lee Cargill was born March 26, 1949 in Fairmont to Ervin and Gloria (Stueve) Cargill. He was a 1967 graduate of Osseo High School and since 1987 has lived at Annandale. He enjoyed being an independent truck driver and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, derby car racing, practical jokes, and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Sharon Huikko of Annandale; son Dallas of Shakopee; daughter, Dusty Ruff (Jason) of Jordan; four grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Noah, & Mikah; mother, Gloria of Cokato; grandmother, Harriet Edwards of Wanamingo; twin brother, Richard of Annandale; sister, Rebecca Matheson (Al) of Blaine; sister in law, Jane Cargill of Annandale; and also several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, stillborn sister Robin, and brother Randy.
The pallbearers will be John, Brad, Sal & Dakota Cargill, Al & Mike Matheson, and Jason Ruff. Noah & Mikah Ruff will be honorary pallbearers. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
