Rodney R. Gullings, age 59, of Annandale died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Kimball with Rev. David Milz will officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. A prayer service will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rodney Russell Gullings was born on November 15, 1948 to Russell and Dolores (Farris) Gullings. He graduated from Moorhead High School in 1966. Rodney married Carol Vicki Kleveland on August 1, 1987 at their home on Cedar Lake. They owned and operated Turtle Bay Building Services with Doug and Pam Maday in Blaine since 1993. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kimball. Rodney enjoyed fishing, Corvettes, Nascar, home improvement projects and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Vicki; children, Hal Kimball (fiance Dori Erickson) of Cokato, Rebecca (Nathan) Halbakken and Timothy (Julie) Gullings, both of Moorhead, and Candida (Jay) Kimball-Iverson of Grand Forks, ND; step-father, Haakon Hanson of Moorhead; brother, Paul (Julie) Hanson of Fargo, ND; brother-in-law, Dave Elrod of Montgomery; six grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Elrod.
Pallbearers will be Carter Diers, David Wagner, Andy Schieber, Dave Ernhart, John Kittock and Chip Mandel. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
