Robert 'Bob' Mitchell, age 64, of South Haven died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Buffalo Community Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bill Hicks officiating. Burial will be at North Corinna Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church. There will be a prayer service 5 p.m. Friday.
Robert 'Bob' John Mitchell was born July 1, 1947 in Hennepin County to the late Merrill and Roberta (Karlen) Mitchell. Since 1983 he lived in Annandale and since his marriage to Rita (Fobbe) Weber on June 17, 2006 has lived at South Haven. He retired in 2006 as manager of the Maus Foods store in Monticello where he had worked for many years. He was a member of the Buffalo Community Assembly of God Church and was a volunteer for the Heart of the Lakes Triathlon. He enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, cooking, the past four winters in Florida and trips in his Ford Mustang convertible.
He is survived by his wife Rita Mitchell of South Haven, sons Terry (Heather) Mitchell of Bradenton, FL, Troy (Tessa) Mitchell of Hudson, WI, step children Tim Weber of Annandale, Jeff Weber of South Haven, sister Merrilyn (Steve) Apicelli of CA, grandchildren Carley, Sydney, Grace, Eden, Ruben, Ari & Elisha Mitchell, step grandchildren Bradly, Skylar, Sommar & Lacey Weber.
The pallbearers will be Tim, Jeff, Bradly & Skylar Weber and Roger & Duane Fobbe. The music for the service will be provided by Terry Mitchell, Troy Mitchell, and Carole Chilton. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
