Robert J. Kramer, age 69, of Maple Lake died Friday, January 29, 2010 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Robert Joseph Kramer was born June 2, 1940 in Monticello to Bernard Rudolph and Muriel Elizabeth (Braun) Kramer and graduated from Monticello High School in 1958. He served as a member of the U.S. Army and married Jeanne Ann Mooney on June 30, 1962 in Maple Lake. Since 1967 he has owned & operated Kramer Sales & Manufacturing, Maple Lake. Bob was a former member of the Maple Lake City Council and a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church. He enjoyed his work, his grandchildren, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife for 47 years, Jeanne of Maple Lake, children Joseph (Jean) of Maple Lake, Patty (Bob) Hoversten of Waite Park, David (Vicki) of Maple Lake, Karen (William) Lessard of Phoenix, mother Muriel of Monticello, eight grandchildren Jamie Kramer, Jeremy Kramer, Jason Hoversten, Joshua Hoversten, Aaron Hoversten, Ally Kramer, Hope Kramer & Donovon Lessard, a great grandson Tristan Hoversten, brothers William (Patti) of Arlington Heights, IL, Thomas (Dianna) of Clearwater, Michael (Jody) of Clearwater, sisters Lisa (Wayne) Hoglund of Albertville, Julie (Robert) Martin of New Prague, Kris (Bill) Malone of Monticello. He was preceded in death by his father, son Ronald and brother Marvin.

The pallbearers will be Bob's eight grandchildren and the music for the service will be provided by St. Timothy's Resurrection Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
