Robert M. Johnson, age 72, of South Haven, died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 at Fairhaven Christian Church, Fairhaven with a reception and time of sharing to follow at Playland Ballroom in Kimball. Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Fairhaven Christian Church.
Robert M. Johnson was born on September 30, 1934 in Litchfield to Victor and Edna (Nelson) Johnson. He married Elaine Salmela on October 22, 1960 at the Kimball Church of Christ. Bob owned and operated E-Z Crusher in Annandale and Sauk Centre and Kimball Railcar Services in Kimball. He was a member of the Fairhaven Christian Church. Bob was a huge racing fan and sponsor. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughters and their spouses, Kelly Donabauer and husband Donald of Fairhaven, Kerry Johnson and fiancAC. Skip Nolan of Annandale, and Kristy Harren and husband Tom of St. Cloud; brothers, Harlan Johnson and wife Arlene of Litchfield, and Ralph and wife Virginia of Princeton; six grandchildren, Tiffany and Tabitha Maus, Nicholas and Samantha Donabauer, and Jarrett and Victoria Harren. Bob`s parents preceded him in death.
