Robert V. Harmon, age 64, of Elk River, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at his home.
Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at Grace Southside Cemetery, located at 90th St. & Nevens Ave, Annandale, MN. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
Robert Verner Harmon was born January 9, 1948 in Wagner, SD to George and Genevieve (Sejnoha) Harmon. On July 22, 1976, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Joyce Roelke. Bob served as a Merchant Marine. He worked as a Long Haul Trucker and for the past two years he worked as a Transport Driver for Manheim Auto Auction. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and his dogs.
He is survived by his children & their spouses Brenda & Kenneth Price of Elk River, Robert of St. Cloud, Steven & Kris of Blaine, Gail & Thor Kaasa of Minneapolis and Robin & Robert Bradish of Zimmerman; sisters Sharon & Steven Wark of Avon, Linda Jasmer of Motley and Marsha Chamberlain of Clearwater; 11 grandchildren Catherine, Elizabeth, Kassie, Amanda, Haley, Hope, Devin, Samantha, Robbie, Kari and KC; and 4 great grandchildren Gunner, Jesse, Alyssa and Emily. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Genevieve, wife Marilyn, granddaughter Jamie Kaasa, and sister Janet Freese.
