Robert L. Anderson, age 88 of Annandale, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Buffalo Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale. Pastor D.J. Lura will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Monday at the church.

Robert LeRoy Anderson was born December 31, 1921 in Annandale to Edwin and Anna Louise (Dahlin) Anderson. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Bob lived and farmed south of Annandale all his life. He enjoyed farming with his brother, Walter, until retiring in 1985 and moving to town in 2006.

He is survived by his brothers, Walter and Harold (Lucille), both of Annandale and brother in law, James Vansteenburg of Monticello. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Luella Vansteenburg.

Pallbearers will be Rollie Werner, Dean Kaskinen, Dan Rosten, Josh Rosten, Lonnie Bach, Jeff Bach. Orma Lou Jacobsma will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
