Obituary
Robert A. Anderson, age 69, of Annandale died peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Thursday, August 23, 2012.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Pastor Pamela Nickel officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Robert Allen Anderson was born March 6, 1943 in Minneapolis to William and Teresa (Lindgren) Anderson. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bob worked as a baker at numerous stores, was an over the road trucker for a short time and served as the chef at the Thayer Hotel in Annandale in the '90's. He enjoyed Minnesota sports, horseracing, golf, music fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his children Debra (Kelly) Fries of Golden Valley and Richard Anderson of Fridley; grandchildren Taylor and Jacob; brother Donald (Paulette) Anderson of Mesquite, NV; sister Katie VanOsdel of Annandale; nieces Chrissy (Alan) Erdmann and Stephany Anderson; nephew Brian (Tammy) Anderson; and companion Pamela Halupczok.
