Obituary

Richard W. Ziegelmann, age 60 of Buffalo died Friday, January 29, 2010 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Maple Lake with Rev. Peter J. Martinson & Rev. Steven King officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area 2 at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake and one hour prior to services, Wednesday at the church.

Richard Walter Ziegelmann was born December 1, 1949 in Granite Falls to Walter and Mildred (Ingerson) Ziegelmann. He served his county in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On May 24, 1975, Rick was united in marriage to Shirley Ebaugh in Denver, IA. He worked as an illustrator and draftsman for many years and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Rick was a great artist, he loved sports, spending time on the lake, spending time with his family and watching his children's activities.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley; sons Nick & Nate; daughter, Noelle; sister, Sherry Baumgardt and her husband, Larry of Sleepy Eye; and many family and friends.

Pastor Steven King and Becky King will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
