Obituary
Richard "Fuzzy" Hinz, age 60, of Kimball died Monday, June 27, 2011 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta after a 2-year battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Kimball with Rev. Aaron Bell officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services, Thursday, both at the church. Memorials are preferred.
Richard William "Fuzzy" Hinz was born August 27, 1950 in St. Cloud to the late Sidney and Maida (Handt) Hinz. He lived his lifetime in the Kimball area and was a 1968 graduate of Kimball High School. He married Sherry Jensen on August 22, 1969 in Kimball and was a home building contractor. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud & Minnesota Home Builder's Association and a retired 21-year member of the Kimball Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, casinos, and time spent with his friends & family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Sherry of Kimball, children Tim (Tammy) of South Haven, Lori (Troy) Hoefker of Wayzata, 4 grandchildren A.J. Hinz, Colby Hinz, Ryan Hoefker & Jordan Munson, brothers Robert (Barbara) of Mill Valley, CA, Ralph of Kimball, Russ of Kimball, Patty (Richard) Peterson of Kimball, and Cathy (Dave) Hollermann of Carlos.
