Obituary
Rebecca J. Sheldon, age 48, of Kimball died Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Paynesville Area Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Kimball. Rev. Dave Milz will officiate and burial will be in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Rebecca Jean Sheldon was born on March 8, 1959 in Camp Pendleton, CA to Robert and Lynda (Ditsworth) Rochleau. She grew up in Iowa and has lived in Kimball for the past 21 years. Becci married Lawrence D. Sheldon on September 23, 1995 in St. Cloud. She worked for the Kimball Post Office as a rural mail carrier for 8 years and for J & M Mini Mart in Kimball for 5 years. She was a member of St. John`s Lutheran Church in Kimball. She enjoyed gardening, working, and spending time with friends and family. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren.
Becci is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Stacey Hoskins (special friend, Tony Epple) of Athol, KS, Shannon Gielen (fiancAC., Randall Vales), Steven and Zachery Sheldon, all of Kimball; grandmother, Annie Rochleau of Algona, IA; sister, Ronda (Michael) Champney of Bourbannis, IL; brothers, Rick Rochleau (fiancAC., Karyl Frank) of Denver, CO, and David Rochleau of Burt, IA; five grandchildren, Chandler, Brayden, Tharen, Ryan and Jordyn Nicole. Her parents preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Rick Rochleau, Mike Champney, Paje Champney, Janet Larson, David Sheldon and Robbie Hawkins. Nancy Lidberg, organist and Joyce Albert, soloist will provide the music for the service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
