Randy W. Cargill, age 54, of Annandale died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at his home.
Private family services were held followed by burial at the Grace Southside Cemetery, Annandale. Rev. Kevin Sazwedel officiated. Memorials are preferred to Allina Hospice.
Randy William Cargill was born August 18, 1954 in Glenwood to Ervin 'Pete' and Gloria (Stueve) Cargill. He was a 1972 graduate of Osseo High School and married Jane Casavan on June 10, 1978. Prior to moving to Annandale in 1996 Randy was employed by ShopKo in Worthington. Most recently he was a home health care provider. Randy enjoyed fishing and following the Minnesota Vikings & Minnesota Twins.
He is survived by his wife, Jane of Annandale; children, Sal Cargill of St. Cloud, Lori Casavan (Charlie Hamman) of St. James, Jesse Cargill of Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan & Zach; mother, Gloria Cargill of Cokato; grandmother, Harriet Edwards of Wanamingo; brothers, Roger Cargill (Sharon) of Annandale, Richard Cargill of Annandale; sister, Rebecca Matheson (Al) of Blaine; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His father and stillborn sister Robin preceded him in death.
The pallbearers were Mark Yunger, Bob Ennen, Sal and Ryan Cargill, Stacy and Michael Matheson, Jason Ruff and Charlie Hamman. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care.
