Randel T. Rust, age 55, of Clearwater, died Monday, June 22, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with Deacon Ron Freeman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will follow at Acacia Cemetery near Clearwater.

Randel Timothy Rust was born October 16, 1959 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Edward and Donna (Sholts) Rust. Randy grew up in Roseville and attended school in Brooklyn Center graduating with the Class of 1977. Randy worked as a maintenance manager for Country Manor in Sartell. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed woodworking and working on carpentry projects. He truly loved the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, gardening, working in his yard or cutting wood. He treasured the time he was able to spend with his family.

Randy is survived by his partner, Danielle Brooks of Clearwater; children, Jennifer (Shane) Pitzl of Annandale and Erik Rust of Annandale; grandchildren, Isaak Rust and Kylee Pitzl; parents, Edward and Donna of Trempealeau, WI; and sisters, Andrea Davis of Houston, TX, Brenda (Randy) Matthies of Ramsey, Rebecca (Mark) Bowen of Albertville and Melissa Printz of Winona. He is preceded in death by his brother, Shawn.
