Ralph E. Lenox, age 87 of Rogers died Friday, February 29, 2008.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Kimball United Methodist Church. Rev. Heather E. Klason will officiate and burial will be in North Kingston Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the Disabled American Veterans 'DAV'.

Ralph Lenox was born May 21, 1920 in Kimball to James and Minnie (Nordby) Lenox. He served his country in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific. Ralph married Jeanette Stelton on December 15, 1945 in Annandale, and she preceded him in death on September 5, 2006. He worked in maintenance for over 30 years for Cargill. Ralph enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting. He loved tinkering and had a fascination with Duct Tape. He was a huge Minnesota Twins baseball fan and loved Opera music.

He is survived by his three daughters, Bonnie Jordan of Hanover, Sue (Ron) Nims of Dayton and Nancy (Jeff) Wagner of Sioux Falls, SD; sister, Marian Erickson of Deerwood; three grandchildren, Angie Nims, Kelli (Christian) Thompson and Devin (Emily) Christiansen. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanette; sisters, Pearl Lenox and Ruby Anderson; and brothers, John 'Jack' and Floyd 'Doc'.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Wagner, Ron and Angie Nims, Devin Christiansen, Kelli and Christian Thompson. Jessica McIntyre, pianist, and Esther Marks, vocalist, will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
