Ralph F. Fredrick, age 77, of Fairhaven and formerly of Casper, WY and Wind Lake, WI died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Rev. Deacon Ron Freeman will officiate and burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Buffalo. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the funeral, Saturday at the funeral home.
Ralph Fred Fredrick was born August 4, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI to Ben & Johanna Awer. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Ralph married Joyce Langenhol in 1954 and she preceded him in death in 1970. He then married Mildred (Maurer) Weber on December 26, 1975 in Racine, WI. He worked in maintenance at Red Star Yeast in Milwaukee, WI for over 20 years and for the city of Casper for 15 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Casper, WY. Ralph was a "fixer upper," he enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, and caring for his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; children, Kathy Fries of Menoqua, WI, Ralph Jr. (Bert) of Jacksonville, FL, Sandy (Ray) Hollencamp of Muskego, WI, Barbra Dombeck of Green Lake, WI, Steven (Penny) of East Troy, WI, Amy (Jeremy) Oglsby of Houston, TX and Debra (Tom) Atkinson of Queens Creek, AZ; step children, Cindy (Kenny) Opsahl of Kimball, Charles (LaRae) Weber of Casper, WY, Chad (Patty) Weber of St. Cloud and Cal (Marion) Weber of Fairhaven; step daughter-in-law, Rita Mitchell of South Haven; brother, Eugene (Ethel) of West Allis, WI; sisters, Jeanette (Jim) Michaels and Johanna (Gene) Jacobs, both of Wind Lake, WI; 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joyce; step son, Carl Weber; brothers, Gerald, Raymond, Earl and Bernie Fredrick; and sisters, Mildred Solowada, Mary Anne Rieckhoff and Elaine Schwartzenager.
Pallbearers will be Tony Fredrick, Todd Linder, Nathan, Adam, Chris, Calvin, Tim and Jeff Weber. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
