Phyllis L. Ahsenmacher, 85, of Centennial Villa Apartments, Annandale died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at her residence.
Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Camp Friendship or Annandale Health & Community Services.
Phyllis Louise Ahsenmacher was born November 29, 1921 in Minneapolis to Otto and Louise (Fischer) Brede. She graduated from Edison High School in 1939 and from the University of Minnesota in 1943. She married Leo W. Ahsenmacher on December 28, 1946 in Minneapolis and they lived on Lake Minnetonka prior to moving to Clearwater Lake in 1979. Phyllis worked several years for McQuay-Perfex Company in Plymouth as a Senior Purchasing Agent, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Council of Catholic Women, Camp Friendship Auxiliary, and Annandale Care Center Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and spending time in Hawaii.
She is survived by her husband, Leo of Annandale; children & their spouses, Mary Lou & Denny Rasset of Annandale, Robert & Roxanne Ahsenmacher of Shakopee; brother, William (Helen) Brede of Lawrenceburg, IN; 5 grandchildren, Eric, Amy, Carrie, Nickie & Jason; and 2 great grandchildren, Eli Robert & Sadie Marie.
The pallbearers will be Eric, Carrie & Nickie Rasset, Jason Ahsenmacher, Amy Ahsenmacher Winter, Bill McAlpin, and Michael Kronquist. Carolyn Wicks will provide the music for the service and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
