Philip J. Nagorski, Sr., age 87, of Maple Lake died Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Mark Huberty will officiate and burial will be in the St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Philip J. Nagorski, Sr. was born March 5, 1919 in Sobeski, MN to Julius and Mary (Wartas) Nagorski. He married Theresa Williams on August 29, 1944 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Phil worked as a truck driver for Munson`s Feed Co. in Howard Lake for 20 years. He also owned a farm in Albion Center before moving to Maple Lake. He is a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, were he has served as a Eucharistic Minister. Phil enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; children and their spouses, Deanna and Roy Provo of Becker, Philip and Sandra of Buffalo, and William of Lakeville; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. His parents and daughter, Mary Theresa preceded him in death.
The pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Tammy Friederichs, Jennifer Hovland, Becky Moldenhauer, Connie Drake, Kristen Hoyne, Chad, Andrew and Laura Nagorski. The Resurrection Choir and Men in Sweaters will provide the music for the service. Arrangements were made by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
