IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peter John
Conrad
July 13, 1974 – December 24, 2025
Peter J. Conrad, age 51, passed away peacefully in his Minneapolis home on December 24, 2025.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Dr. James Gimble will officiate.
Peter John Conrad was born on July 13, 1974, to William, Jr. and Jayne (Kackman) Conrad in South St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Cannon Falls, where he graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1992. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
For many years, Pete was self-employed as a floor installer before dedicating the last four years as a housing inspector for Rental Management Guys. He took great pride in his work, ensuring safe and welcoming homes for so many.
Peter was a compassionate and caring individual, deeply devoted to his family, especially his beloved Grandma Betty. Many cherished hours were spent with her playing "Kings in the Corner," a testament to their special bond. He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying both hunting and fishing, and he possessed remarkable insight when it came to fixing things. Known for his intelligence and quick wit, Peter loved engaging in spirited debates. Music was another of his great loves, particularly the band Slayer, for which he attended every concert he could. Sundays were reserved for watching Vikings games with friends, creating memories that will last forever.
Peter's spirit will remain in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will forever be cherished.
Peter is survived by his mother, Jayne Harff and step-father, Ron Harff of Kimball; brother, Nickolas Conrad of Hastings; sister, Beth (Chris) Everett of Inver Grove Heights; step-siblings, Brian (Diane) Harff and Lynn Hoff both of Watkins; grandmother, Betty Kackman of Eden Valley; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Conrad, Jr.; grandparents, William and Melissa Conrad and Melvin Kackman.
