Obituary

Mrs. Pearl M. Snabb, age 72, of South Haven died Monday, September 6, 2004 at Park View Care Center, Buffalo.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2004 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Our Saviour's Lutheran Cemetery, French Lake. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Pearl Marie Snabb was born April 2, 1932 in New York Mills to Charles and Esther (Carlund) Niemela. She married Stanley H. Snabb September 1, 1951 in Minneapolis. She was a floor supervisor for Leef Brothers Laundry, Minneapolis for 30 years. She lived on Moose Lake, rural South Haven for many years before becoming a resident of Park View Care Center, Buffalo in 1993. Pearl loved her family, grandchildren, nature, gardening, canning, baking, the holidays, and living on Moose Lake.

Pearl is survived by her husband, Stanley of South Haven; daughter, Carolyn (Dan) Herrboldt of Ramsey; sisters, Violet Bentilla of New York Mills, Frances Snabb of South Haven, Anna (George) Becker of Aitkin; brothers, John of Minneapolis, Raymond (Janelle) of Leech Lake, and Edwin (Sharon) of Harris; sister in law, Norma Niemela of Minneapolis; grandsons, Donovan and Dan Herrboldt Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eleanor and Ruth; and brothers, Arnold and Howard.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Rosten, Greg Snabb, Dan Herrboldt Jr., Donovan Herrboldt, Jerry and Gary Finneman. The organist for the funeral will be Orma Lou Jacobsma.

Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
