Pearl E. Garton, age 64, of Annandale died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at the Annandale Care Center.
Memorial services were held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Pearl Edna Garton was born February 12, 1938 in Belmont, OH to Everett L. and Chloeinda M. (Davis) Wesley. She served her country in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1958. She married John A. Garton on April 16, 1957. The couple later divorced. She married Bill Perrine on September 18, 1992; he preceded her in death September 3, 2000. She worked as a sales clerk for Holiday Store, Minneapolis and Jack & Jill, Annandale retiring in 2001. Pearl has lived in Annandale since 1969 where she was a member of St. John`s Lutheran Church, Order of Eastern Star Vesta Chapter # 68, and Annandale Community Band. She was a drummer and singer in the band Country Junction.
Pearl is survived by three daughters, Patti (Kevin) Johnson of Brooklyn Center, Cheryl (Tim) Hondl of Anoka, Jennifer Kauti of Rockford; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale, Minnesota.
