Mrs. Pauline M. Magnuson, age 86, of Annandale died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Ridgeview Place, Sauk Rapids.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2005 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Father Edwin Kraemer officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-7:30 p.m. Sunday and from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday.
Pauline M. Magnuson was born June 22, 1919 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Gregor and Katherine (Resch) Kraemer. She moved to St. Cloud in 1921 where she attended grade school at St. Mary's and graduated from Cathedral in 1937. Pauline married Lester G. Magnuson on July 18, 1945 in St. Cloud and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1987. She was a homemaker and also worked at Super Valu owned by Lester and his brother, Carty, from 1958-1968. She was a member of the Annandale Care Center Auxiliary, Maple Lake VFW Auxiliary Post #7664, and St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale.
Pauline is survived by her son, Thomas (Carol) Magnuson of Annandale; daughter, Stephanie (Jim) Hoxmeier of Plymouth; grandchildren, John Magnuson of Annandale, Kelly Jo (Aaron) Anderson of Kimball, and Erin Lynn (Todd) Fritz of Sartell; six great grandchildren; brothers, Jerome (Maureen) Kraemer of Omaha, Robert (Ella) Kraemer of Eagan, Father Edwin Kraemer of Sartell; sister, Mary (Lee) Torborg of St. Cloud; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two infants; sisters, Donna Ruud and Sister Mary Gregoria O.S.F.
Memorials are preferred.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hoxmeier, Bob Magnuson, Tim Torborg, Mike, Tom, & John Kramer. Music for the funeral provided by Dureen Gasser and Lisa Torborg.
