Pauline S. Jennis, age 97, of Buffalo, formerly of South Haven, died Saturday, January 10, 2026, at her home in Havenwood of Buffalo.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be a reception at The V in Maple Lake. Pastor Alex Becker will officiate.

Pauline Susan Jennis was born on September 16, 1928, in St. Wendel Township, near St. Joseph, Minnesota with her twin sister, Doreen, to Peter and Mary (Rooney) Jennis. Pauline was a career-long employee of Honeywell, having received an award for her outstanding dedication to the company.

Pauline purchased a cabin on Clearwater Lake, where she would visit on weekends. After selling the cabin, she rented an old farmhouse and worked for the Olsons, cleaning their home and taking care of their horse, Coco. Pauline eventually purchased a home on Grass Lake in South Haven, where she lived for twelve years with her cat, Tarzan. She then moved to Havenwood in Buffalo where she spent the last year.

Pauline found joy in gardening and dancing. She had a passion for shopping for antiques and decorating her home. Pauline loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and their families: Sue (Rick) Achman, Carla (Jim) Primus, Sue (Willie) Williams, Sandy Symons, Brooks Bjerke, Krystle Symons, Deb (Tim) Skaja, Sheela (Brian) Gross, Lexi Gross, Roxanne (Sheldon) Kothman, Shelly (Robert) Kuhlmann, Kasey (Matthew) Montag, Darcy (George) Stanley, Hannah Thurber (Megan Trombly), Jim Achman, Jake (Jeff) Primus, Logan (MacKenzie) Gross, Cole Kothman (Tiffany Raleigh), Darren Wichman, Scott Thurber (Nita Bonesteel), Wyatt Thurber, Michael Achman, Erik (Erica) Achman, Adam (Melissa) Achman, and Matt (Sara) Achman. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary; twin sister, Doreen; and siblings, Bernice, Lillian, Ellen and Ernest.

Scott Thurber, George Stanley, Sheldon Kothman, and Brian Gross will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
