Patrick W. Meyers, age 69, of Kimball died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the St. Cloud V.A. Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Kimball Church of Christ with Pastor Kevin White officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Patrick William Meyers was born February 17, 1946 in St. Cloud to William and Leona (VanNurden) Meyers.  He graduated with the Class of 1964 from Kimball High School.  He served his country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.  On August 29, 1970, Patrick was united in marriage to Sharon Espelund at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kimball.  He was a member of the Kimball Church of Christ and the Kimball American Legion Post 261.  Pat enjoyed painting, working on the computer, working on cars and spending time with family.  He was a friend to everybody, a true jokester and prankster and was a handyman.  He loved to go on golf cart rides with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Sharon; daughter Shannon Meyers of Maple Lake; three grandchildren Bryant Stucky, Jade Zeidler and Amber Zeidler; brother Jerry Meyers of Kimball; and sister Joan Meyers of Maple Grove.  He is preceded in death by his parents William and Leona Meyers.

The pallbearers will be Bryant Stucky, Jade Zeidler, Mike Espelund, Dean Stewart, Justin Schafer and Jason Lueders.  The honorary bearers will be Wayne Gulso, Cole Espelund, James Justison and Daniel Justison.  Jamie Miller will provide the music for the service.  Military honors will be provided by the Minnesota National Guard Honor Guard and the Kimball American Legion Honor Guard.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
