Obituary
Mr. Orville R. Peanut Lennox, age 77, of Minneapolis died Sunday, November 17, 2002 at Walker Methodist Health Care Center, Minneapolis.
Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Burial followed in Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery, Kingston.
Orville Robert Lennox was born February 28, 1925 in Kingston Township, Meeker County to Samuel and Aina (Ashwill) Lenox. He married Vivian L. Dorman August 13, 1946 in Litchfield. Orville was a WW II veteran serving in the US Navy. He lived in Minneapolis most of his adult life where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Webster Construction Company, St. Paul.
Orville is survived by his wife, Vivian of Richfield; daughter, Sheila Dahlheimer of Coon Rapids; sons, Robert of WA, Bruce (Marilyn) of Apple Valley, Brian (Julianne) of St. Louis Park; sister, Pearl Zopfi of Onamia; brother, Marvin (Doris) Ashwill of Dassel; nine grandchildren, Sean (Jen) Daly, Kathy Daly, Allen Lennox, Jean Marie Lennox, Joel Dahlheimer, Jody (Jim) Schoenecker, Kelly (Shawn) Kutney, Micah Lennox, and Travis Lennox; four great grandchildren, Justin Daly, Jennifer and Sarah Schoenecker, and Ryan Dahlheimer.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale, Minnesota.
