Olivia C. "Ollie" Meyer, age 95, of Annandale died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo.
Visitation will begin at 10 am with Mass of Christian Burial held at 11 am on Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale.
Olivia Catherine "Ollie" Meyer was born August 23, 1918 in St. Cloud to Anton and Barbara (Verkennis) Adrian. She married Ralph M. Meyer on June 19, 1937 in North Dakota and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2009. She lived in Annandale most of her life where she was a homemaker and also worked several years at Thayer's Department Store. Ollie was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale and was active in the Altar Society. She enjoyed her Birthday and Card Clubs, sewing, fishing, dancing, gardening, bingo and she loved her family.
She is survived by daughters and son, JoAnn (Jack) Ledwein of Annandale, Ronald (Mary) of Maple Plain, Jan (Dan) Goeman of Clearwater, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Gilbert and Clarence, sisters Cyrilla Dahlheimer and Ermalinda Rudolph, and granddaughter Keri Lemmerman.
Urn bearers will be Jan and Dan Goeman. Music for the service will be provided by Carolyn Wicks and St. Ignatius Music Ministry. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
