Olida D. "Ole" Maloney, age 77 of Annandale died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. Rev. Peter R. Holm will officiate and burial will be in Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services, Friday at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Olida Delora "Ole" Maloney was born September 27, 1931 in Minneapolis to Roy and Helen (Wellman) Iverson. She married William Maloney on January 5, 1975 in Anoka and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2007. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Ole enjoyed crocheting, reading and cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Escobar of Houston, TX; brother, Roy (Vickie) Iverson of Coon Rapids; sister, Esther (John) Danielson of Denver, PA; four grandchildren, Tina, Tonia, Maurice, Jr. and RoseMary; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son; and sister Florence Comeau.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Forner, Gary Leen, Jerry Leitha, Keith Beckman, Gary and Jack Doering. Honorary pallbearer will be Earl Dibbs. Greta Leen, organist will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
