Olaf "Ole" Olson, age 84, of Annandale, formerly of Excelsior died Friday, September 2, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Denny Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Woodside Cemetery, Shorewood.

Olaf Leonard Olson, Jr. was born April 19, 1932 to Olaf and Lillian (Swanson) Olson.  He graduated from Deep Haven High School. Ole served his country with the United States Navy.  On February 3, 1954, he was united in marriage to Barbara Gay Baker in Mason City, IA.  Together, they owned and operated Qik & Ezy Grocery in Excelsior.  Ole loved sports, especially baseball and football. He enjoyed fishing, caring for his lawn and gardening.

He is survived by his son Gary of Excelsior; grandchildren Jordan, Michael and Amber; and great grandchildren Alayna, Lauryn and Dillon.  He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara and son Jeff.

The casket bearers will be Jordan, Dick and Gary Olson, Jim Will, Bart Baker and Michael Hanson.  Suzanne Holtz will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
