Norman F. Schlueter, age 68, of Fair Haven died Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Good Shepherd Community, Sauk Rapids.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fair Haven with Rev. Timothy Nerud officiating.  Burial will follow at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fair Haven.  Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church, Fair Haven.

Norman Frank Schlueter was born January 30, 1946 at the St. Cloud Hospital to Albert and Edna (Hamann) Schlueter.  He graduated with the Class of 1963 from Kimball Area High School.  On August 17, 1968, Norman was united in marriage to Marian Lueders at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fair Haven.  Norman worked for 26 years in road construction for P.C.I., retiring in 2006.  From 2006 until 2014, he worked for Stearns Scout Camp.  Norman was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Fair Haven; he served his church as a Trustee.  He was also a member of the Fair Haven Lions Club and served on the South Haven Fire Department for 34 years.  Norman enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, smoking his pipe and tinkering on his 1952 Chevy Pickup.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Marian; son Steven (Michelle) of St. Augusta; granddaughters Elizabeth, Sophia and Gabrielle; brothers Ralph of Minneapolis and Eugene (Linda) of St. Cloud; sisters Dorothy Groth of Sauk Rapids, Shirley (Daniel) Imholte of Princeton, Erma (Ray) Kremers of St. Cloud and Darlene (Willy) Looman of Fair Haven; and brother-in-law Lenny Lueders of Fair Haven.  He is preceded in death by his parents Albert & Edna Schlueter; parents-in-law Ervin & Margie Lueders; brother-in-law Lester Groth; and sister-in-law Mildred Schlueter.

The urn bearer will be Ron Saukkola and the honorary urn bearers will be Brandon and Mitchell Schindele.  Lynn Hoff will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
